This urban design utilizes the spaces between the irregularly shaped buildings on this site and connected by a bold and continuous arc in the landscape.

Everything from the ground plane to the placement of the trees and site elements would reflect this subtle yet obvious curve through the site. Site elements included an artificial arroyo, thatched shade canopies, coloured glass screens, cactus planters, sunken an raised gardens and high water tables reminiscent of Villa Lente, mimicking an ‘arroyo’.

This project won an American Society of Landscape Architects Award in 2007.
